Jason has been drawing professionally since 1990, painting covers for Star Trek. Since then, he’s worked as an illustrator on a vast variety of projects. Creating art for TV shows, story boards, concept work, collectibles, art for companies such as Paramount, Warner Bros, HBO, AMC, Fox, Lucasfilm and Sideshow Collectibles. Projects such as package art for the Indiana Jones blu ray set and marketing concepts for HBO’s Game of Thrones. He has developed popular series of licensed art prints such as Firefly/Serenity with Universal Studios, Walking Dead with AMC, Castle & Once Upon a Time with ABC/Disney. His recent, and easily biggest project was a Star Wars mural commissioned by Lucasfilm and Amazon. At a whopping 10 feet high and 90 feet long, it featuring all 11 movies and the TV shows. It was displayed at the largest convention center in North America, McCormick Place.
Jason also tends to draw anything and everything that catches his fancy... And his fancy is easily caught.
Creating The Improbable.
We believe in every single person’s ability to create the improbable and to learn about themselves and the world in the process. Like any artifact worth searching for, sometimes all it takes is a bit of digging in the right place to find your unique ability. We seek to aid in this endeavor.
At SiliCon with Adam Savage, our goal is to bring together people who have long histories of creating, from filmmakers and actors, to artists, authors, engineers, scientists, technologists, and makers to share their creativity and enthusiasm. We know that the sum of all this interaction is greater than its individual parts. We celebrate the spark we get when we meet new people, surmount new challenges, exult and share with each other.
