Hannah grew up in a creative and geeky household, giving her an appreciation of all things SciFi, SuperHero and Fantasy. Her father encouraged and nurtured her love of drawing; while her mother inspired her love of sewing through the elaborate Halloween costumes she’d make each year. In high school Hannah discovered anime and conventions introducing her to the world of cosplay, where she began honing her skills as a seamstress. Attending the Ringling College of Art & Design she married her love of sewing with her education to pursue a career in clothing and hair simulation. She has worked on many films including The Amazing Spider-Man, Hotel Transylvania and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. In 2014, Hannah shaved her head to raise money and awareness for Children’s Cancer Research via the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. To support that “Bald is Beautiful!” she used cosplay and her submissions for the Her Universe Fashion Show to showcase empowered, bald women! Competing for 3 years in the Fashion Show, in 2016 she won the Judges Choice Award for her Furiosa inspired gown from Mad Max: Fury Road. The opportunity has inspired her to pursue her dream of designing motorcycle gear for women. While Covid caused delays, she hopes to fully launch her brand, Moto Muse, later this year!
