About SiliCon
Founded in 2014, SiliCon was the vision of Rick White and Steve Wozniak as they sought to bring together the best of technology and pop culture. The show, previously held in San Jose but is now located in Santa Clara, attracts about 60,000 people each year. Having grown every year since then, Adam Savage joined in 2019 to bring a new dimension to the event which embraced the maker ethos and community.
Why Adam you ask? Adam has been an integral part of the show since its inception. As a true fan of all things science and pop culture, he has shown up each year bringing his enthusiasm and love for the maker and cosplay community.

When we make something, we take our point of view and we reach out into the world. Making could be a dress, it could be an article, a thesis, or a car. It doesn’t matter to me.
